A letter will go home the first week of school requesting the following supplies. However, students are expected to bring the following items to school::
o Black and White composition notebook
o Yellow, blue, red, green and orange two pocket folder
o Number 2 Pencils
o Dry erase markers (a 2 pack is enough)
As a CREW, we will accept donations for classroom use of:
o Tissues
o Hand sanitizer
o Cleaning wipes (for cleaning desks)
o Construction paper
o Copy Paper
o Colored Copy Paper
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Supply Norms
*You may use your own school supplies at your own risk. This means that the teacher is not responsible if items get lost, used by others, damaged or disappear. There are plenty of school supplies provided at school if students wish to leave their own at home to complete homework and projects.
*If items become a distraction during learning time, please note that the teacher will take them away from students.
We are suggesting that students use the Code of Character for guiding their choices when using their supplies, or those of other students:
Respect the property of others, and the school. This means:
· Do not take what is not yours to use, unless the owner gives permission
· Do not use items to write on desks, walls, and cubbies with pencils, markers, scissors, etc.
Problem-Solve if you lose items, or find someone else using your items. This means
· Asking others for your supplies back in a respectful way
· If things get lost students can problem solve by choosing to leave items at home, or helping to clean up their back-pack, desk, or classroom to look for misplaced supplies.
